What is your soap made of?

Currently all soaps sold are made of fat oils, distilled water and lye (see list of oils used below.) They can contain additives like glitter, micas (for color), and fragrances. All glitters are biodegradable, micas are sourced responsibly and fragrances are paraben free.

Most soaps are made with the following oils:

Sweet Almond Oil (Nut Oil)
Castor Oil
Coconut Oil
Pure Olive Oil
Palm Oil (RSPO Certified)

Bastille Soap is made with only these oils:

Pure Olive Oil
Coconut Oil
Castor Oil

Items were stolen from my cart before I could finish checking out? What happened?

When many people have the same item in their cart, the first person who checks out will receive the item. If this was the last item purchasable then it is considered sold out and the other carts will then have the item removed as it is no longer available.

Returns?

Due to the personal nature of the product, Simply Elegant Soaps cannot accept returns; however, we do offer refunds if you are not satisfied with the product.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, it will be minus the shipping costs.

Do you accept Wholesale or Custom Orders?

I do not accept wholesale orders but I do accept Custom orders. Head on over the Custom Orders page to learn more.

Is the price listed per bar?

Yes, the price is listed is per bar of soap unless stated otherwise. The pictures show multiple bars of soap to show a variety of each bar sold.

Why does your coming soon collection say they need to cure for a month?

Curing allows excess water to evaporate. It creates a firmer bar that lasts longer in the shower and allows the lye to bond to the oils making the soap safe to use.

Can I request what soaps I get in the Try Me Packs?

All Try Me Packs are prepared in advance and are leftovers from batches made. They can be a variety of fragrances and dyes. It’s a fun surprise!

How long can I wait to open and use the soaps I recieved?

For best results please use the soap within six (6) months otherwise the fragrances and color may fade. The soap can still be used like normal, its just not as pretty.

Shipping

If you are receiving a package with an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

Wrong Address

As the buyer it is your responsibility to have the correct address for shipping. If the item has not shipped yet, please notify us via our Contact Page promptly so the shipping label can be changed. If the item has already shipped then once it is returned to us, we can invoice you and resend it once your shipping address has be updated.

Shipping Charges and Other Fees

The cost of the shipping label will depend on the shipping carrier, and the origin, destination, weight, and dimensions of the package. There can also be extra fees when receiving a package. These can be import taxes, customs, or duties fees. Simply Elegant Soaps is not responsible for these fees. These fees are hard to predict and are paid by the buyer.

Shipping Times

It takes one to three (1 to 3) days to process any order to fulfillment. Once the package leaves Simply Elegant Soaps it will go to the carrier, who ships your order. Depending on what shipping options chosen will depend on how long till delivery. Unforeseen delays can be caused by packages going through customs, Covid-19 and weather.
